Saigon Love Stories

After publishing Saigon in my memories in 2017, I continued with Tales of Saigon and was grateful to receive enthusiastic support from foreign tourists.

In July 2024, we republished Saigon in my memories after correcting many spelling and grammar errors. We hope - and are grateful that readers around the world will kindly overlook any remaining mistakes.

Today, I am very pleased to introduce to you Saigon Love Stories, a book that gathers love stories from the author herself, her friends, and her acquaintances. These are beautiful love affairs - some joyful, some tinged with sadness, some marked by heartbreak - but all of them are real. What is love, if not something we always remember and cherish?

Of the 26 stories in this collection, only two are fictional The Scar-faced Man and The One-Legged Old Woman, The Lover. As for The Temple of Praying for Love, it is half-fictional the part about the temple itself is imagined, but the second part is entirely true.

So, I am ted to present to you 24 true, non-fiction stories that offer a small glimpse into the love lives of the people of Saigon.
